If you are looking for a breakfast spot that hits the perfect balance of nostalgic comfort and elevated flavors, this hidden gem is worth the drive. While it’s located a bit further out of town—situated nearly out toward Watch Hill—the experience more than justifies the extra mileage.

The Vibe & Service
The atmosphere is immediately welcoming, with walls adorned with beautiful local art available for purchase. However, the standout feature of the visit was the incredible service. We were seated and greeted almost instantly; the waitress was extremely prompt with drinks, and a manager stopped by seconds later to ensure we were settled. Throughout the meal, the entire staff—including the owner—remained attentive and genuinely kind.

The Coffee
Coffee service here is a highlight. They provide a carafe directly to the table, and there is a self-service coffee bar at the counter for those who need a quick top-off.

The Verdict: If you enjoy strong, bold coffee, you will love it. It was exactly the kick I was looking for, though those who prefer a milder brew might find it leans toward the bitter side.

The Food
The menu offers a great variety, including staples like homemade sausage gravy and corned beef hash that immediately brought back childhood memories. We ordered heavy to get a full sense of the kitchen’s range:

Breakfast Burrito: The eggs were remarkably soft and perfectly cooked. The balance of flavors was spot on, and the addition of pickled jalapeños on top provided a fantastic brightness.

Corned Beef Hash: This is miles ahead of anything you’d find in a can. The meat was tasty with a great texture, though the ratio skewed a bit heavy on the potatoes (hash) compared to the beef.

Mexican Eggs Benedict: A very generous serving topped with guacamole, sour cream, and refried beans. Again, the pickled jalapeños “stole the show.” It’s a massive, delicious dish—the only challenge is trying to fit all those great components into a single bite!

Blueberry & Lemon French Toast: This was a strong contender for the favorite. The lemon curd on the soft, buttery brioche offered a perfect contrast between tart sourness and the sweetness of the syrup.

Overall Experience
We ordered at 8:13 AM and our food was on the table by 8:25 AM—12-minute efficiency without feeling rushed. Between the “crazy nice” staff and the high-quality ingredients, this is a must-visit for anyone in the area.
